City of Upper Arlington Kenny Road Improvement Project

H.R. Gray was retained by the City of Upper Arlington to provide construction management and inspection services on the Kenny Road Improvement Project. The project included the construction of new pavement, curbs and gutters from the City of Upper Arlington's north corporation line to McCoy Road. The project also included new sidewalks on the west side of Kenny Road, new street lights along Kenny Road and new sidewalks and ADA curb ramps on Tremont and Kenny Roads in the vicinity of the City's Municipal Services Center – City Hall.

In addition to the aforementioned public improvements, this project was challenging because of the necessity of keeping the access and services available to the residents and businesses along the project. H.R. Gray's project managers worked with the contractor and the City staff to ensure that traffic and pedestrian concerns were addressed during construction. The project manager also worked to minimize the impacts of the project on the businesses and residents along the construction route.

The project was substantially completed in November, 2007.
