H.R. Gray has teamed with Gilbane Company to provide preconstruction services associated with the above, Group 6, school projects.  Such reviews involve evaluating the design prepared against the requirements of the Ohio Schools Design Manual.  This work has given H.R. Gray a solid working knowledge of the Ohio School Facilities Design Manual as well as an understanding of how the School Facilities Commission goes about approving school projects.

Design reviews are constructed at the schematic, design development and construction document phases.  These reviews follow the pattern the constructability reviews H.R. Gray has conducted for our own clients over the past 20 years.  As we have demonstrated time and time again, such preconstruction reviews and planning are the only truly effective means of controlling cost and schedule of construction projects.
