H.R. Gray was retained by Ohio University to develop a recovery schedule and work with the Project Architect and Contractors to facilitate completion of the work and maintain schedules for a trend setting Student Recreation Center. This project was four months behind schedule and could not open for the schools’ Fall Quarter. This cost Ohio University $1,200,000 in student fees as well as potential claims from multi-prime contractors due to delays.
H.R. Gray rebuilt the relationships between the project players which had suffered as the result of the delays and frustrations of the project. H.R. Gray continued as the mediator and facilitator for all parties.
