City of Akron Canal Park Site Improvements

H.R. Gray was retained by the City of Akron to provide construction management services for the site improvement project at the Canal Park Baseball Stadium.  The designers for this project were Sasaki & Associates and John David Jones & Associates.

The project consisted of street reconstruction, utilities to and from the stadium, new sidewalks, concrete retaining walls, ornamental rails, concrete canal lining, a pedestrian bridge, multiple parking lots, park table s and benches as well as extensive landscaping.

H.R. Gray provided construction management services on this project which had an extremely tight construction schedule while maintaining access to both the baseball stadium construction and local businesses.
