Pigeon Creek Sewer & Pump Station

H.R. Gray provided overall project coordination for the City of Akron’s Pigeon Creek Sewer and Pump Station Project including preliminary scheduling and document review, construction management, construction inspection, and CPM scheduling.



The Pigeon Creek Sewer and Pump Station Project consisted of four separate construction projects completed over several years. These projects; the Kibler Road Water Line, the Pigeon Creek Trunk Sewer, the Pigeon Creek Pump Station and the Pigeon Creek Forced Main, were undertaken to facilitate a Joint Economic Development District agreement between the City of Akron and Copley Township, Ohio. When completed the project included the installation of over 16,600 linear feet of various size concrete pipe ranging in size from 8” to 30” and over 8200 linear feet of ductile iron pipe. The projects also included over 1100 L.F. of micro tunneling and six river, street and railroad crossings utilizing horizontal drilling.
