Polaris/Maxtown Connector – Alum Creek Bridge
– Cleveland Avenue Extension Projects

H.R. Gray was retained to perform design and constructability evaluation, schedule control, and construction contract administration duties for the Polaris/Maxtown Connector, and the Alum Creek Bridge and Cleveland Avenue Extension Projects.



The Projects consisted of three separate construction contracts:

  1. Alum Creek Bridge/Polaris Maxtown Connector Project
  2. Polaris/Maxtown Connector Road Project
  3. Cleveland Avenue Extension Project

H.R. Gray provided construction management and scheduling review services.  The Alum Creek Bridge Project constructed twin 3-lane structures over Alum Creek.  The Connector Project constructed 2 ½ miles of 6-lane roadway from State Street in Westerville to Polaris Parkway in Columbus and the Cleveland Avenue Project consisted of a 5-lane roadway and bridge over Alum Creek from Main Street in Westerville to the Polaris/Maxtown Connector.



All three projects were completed on time and within budget.
